In support of the Giant Mine Remediation Project's socio-economic goals, Parsons will complete periodic labour capacity studies, establish an office in Yellowknife, and engage with local groups on all upcoming work. In addition, Parsons, as the MCM, will structure work packages (size, duration, and complexity) in a manner that allows Indigenous, Northern, and local groups to participate in the project.

This work will include, but is not limited to, the following: The work included in this subcontract is comprised of all general care and maintenance of the surface infrastructure and facilities at Giant Mine. This includes ongoing operation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repairs required to maintain the Site equipment in a safe, serviceable condition. The SCM subcontractor is to provide all mobile equipment, including certain pieces of equipment that must either be on Site on a full-time basis or available within two hours.
