In support of the Giant Mine Remediation Project's socio-economic goals, Parsons will complete periodic labour capacity studies, establish an office in Yellowknife, and engage with local groups on all upcoming work. In addition, Parsons, as the MCM, will structure work packages (size, duration, and complexity) in a manner that allows Indigenous, Northern, and local groups to participate in the project.
ADVANCE NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FRAMEWORK MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT REFRESH
Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, is soliciting a tender for Environmental Services Framework Master Services Agreement (MSA) for the Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. A MSA is not a contract but is an offer from a potential supplier to provide goods and/or services at pre-arranged prices, under set terms and conditions, when and if required. It is not a contract until Parsons issues a Call Up Agreement to the MSA list of approved subcontractors.
NOTICE OF PRE-RFP SITE TOUR – ON-SITE AGGREGATE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Solicitation No. RFP-476721-0078 Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, will be soliciting a Request for Proposal for an On-Site Aggregate Production Management subcontract at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories later in 2025. An OPTIONAL site tour of the On-Site Aggregate Production Management Construction Work Area is taking place in August 2025 prior to the RFP issuance while the weather is still favorable and prior to any snow cover.

Solicitation No. RFP-476721-0062 Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), has selected the best value firm through a competitive solicitation process for the Demolition and Debris Removal – Core Industrial Area (CIA) work at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. We are pleased to announce that True North Environmental Ltd. has been awarded this work, which is anticipated to run until October 31, 2026.
ADVANCE NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY - REGIONAL CONDITIONAL PROCUREMENT SET-A-SIDE FOR INDIGENOUS BUSINESSES– LONG TERM PORTAL
