In support of the Giant Mine Remediation Project's socio-economic goals, Parsons will complete periodic labour capacity studies, establish an office in Yellowknife, and engage with local groups on all upcoming work. In addition, Parsons, as the MCM, will structure work packages (size, duration, and complexity) in a manner that allows Indigenous, Northern, and local groups to participate in the project.

NOTICE OF AWARD – DAM 1 STABILIZATION – THERMOSYPHONS – ARCTIC FOUNDATIONS

The urgent need to stabilize Dam 1 warrants an expedited procurement process and, due to the technical and proprietary nature of the thermosyphon fabrication and installation, Arctic Foundations, as the only company in Canada that manufactures thermosyphons, was sole sourced to supply thermosyphons for this project.
