NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – WASTE TRANSFER STATION OPERATOR

Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, is soliciting an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for a Waste Transfer Station Operator at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This work will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Site Attendant present at the Waste Transfer Site to monitor the rate of waste accumulation.

• Ongoing housekeeping of the waste transfer facility.
• Remove and transport waste from Giant Mine to the City of Yellowknife Solid Waste Facility (Landfill).
• Supply and maintain a Boot wash station

Work is anticipated to start in November 2023. A Mandatory Virtual Pre-bid Conference will be held in July, 2023. Interested bidders must register by end of day July 14, 2023 via email to Procurement.GMRP.Parsons@parsons.com to attend.
