NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – INVESTIGATIVE DRILLING 2023 – REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor,is soliciting a tender for the Investigative Drilling Program for 2023 for the Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This Request for Proposal (RFP) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Supply, mobilize and demobilize all personnel, equipment, instrumentation, support facilities and material required to complete the work.
- Manage and maintain the equipment and material to complete the work.
- Liaise and coordinate with other work activities in the vicinity and Parsons.
- Develop a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan for the activities associated with this drilling program.
- Surface Drilling – approximately 159 boreholes, expected to be diamond drilling (94 boreholes) and sonic drilling (65 boreholes).
- Completing boreholes for downhole camera observation and monitoring well and/or instrument installation.
A Mandatory virtual prebid conference and optional site tour will be held February 22, 2023. Bidders must register to attend.
