NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – DRILLING SERVICES FRAMEWORK MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT

Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, is soliciting a Request for Framework Rates (RFFR) for a Master Services Agreement at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on a Call-up Agreement basis. A MSA is not a contract but is an offer from a potential supplier to provide goods and/or services at pre-arranged prices, under set terms and conditions, when and if required. It is not a contract until Parsons issues a Call-up Agreement to the MSA list of approved subcontractors. This MSA includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Investigative Drilling – drilling boreholes with HW casing and HQ2 and HQ3 tooling using diamond coring rig and drilling geotechnical boreholes using track-mounted rigs.
• Sample Drilling – carry out sonic drilling for the collection of samples, including enlarging access holes as required

An optional Pre-bid Conference and Site Visit will be held for this solicitation. The optional Pre-bid Conference will be held both in-person and virtually. The Site Visit is optional and will be held in-person only, immediately after the optional Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders must register via email to Procurement.GMRP.Parsons@parsons.com, no later than August 4, 2023 and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend and state if that attendance will be in-person or virtual.  

Work is anticipated to start in 2023.
