NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – CIVIL WORKS FRAMEWORK MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT

 

Solicitation No. RFFR-476721-0097

Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, is soliciting a tender for the best value firms to provide any or all services associated with Master Services Agreement Civil Works at Giant Mine, located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on a Call-up Agreement basis. A MSA is not a contract but is an offer from a potential supplier to provide goods and/or services at pre-arranged prices, under set terms and conditions, when and if required. It is not a contract until Parsons issues a Call-up Agreement to the MSA list of approved subcontractors. This MSA will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • New road construction and remediating existing roads,
  • New pad\laydown construction and remediating existing pads\laydowns,
  • Repair and installation of road crossings
  • Power pole removals
  • Installation and removal of fences
  • Silt fencing remediation, installation, and removal
  • Barricade remediation, installations, and removal earthen, precast concrete barricades
  • Brush clearing and grubbing
  • Soil striping (excavate, load, haul place)  
  • Sea-Can and trailer installations relocations
  • Pipeline new installation, remediation, and relocation
  • Water diversion and collection systems
  • Water pump installations and operation
  • Ditch construction and remediation
  • Sump\collection pond\ settling pond construction and remediation.
  • Culvert repairs and new installations
  • Bridge repairs, upgrades, and new installations
  • Test pits for geotechnical investigations
  • Developing or remediation of borrow pits and load haling placing borrow materials
  • General earth works clearing, grubbing, excavating, hauling and placement of materials
  • Dam and dyke construction and remediation
  • Aggregate stockpile stacking/sloping and relocation of stockpiles
  • Signage remediation, installation, removal
  • Debris (material and equipment) removal and relocation

 A non-mandatory pre-bid virtual meeting will be held for this solicitation. Work is anticipated to start in 2023.
