AIR MONITORING WORK PACKAGE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON

Parsons Inc. is the Main Construction Manager for the Giant Mine Remediation Project. Parsons solicited proposals using MERX to select the best value firm to complete all services associated with Ambient Air Quality Monitoring at Giant Mine, in Yellowknife, NT. The Work under the Contract includes but is not limited to the following:

• Collect real-time data of fence-line and community monitoring stations;
• Perform air monitoring near specific activities as directed by Parsons
• Review data as received, validate, compare to established criteria and immediately notify Parsons and the Government of Canada of any conditions that may be in exceedance of target levels; and
• Prepare daily, weekly and annual reports required on all collected data.
