ADVANCE NOTICE OF PRE-RFP SITE TOUR – ON-SITE AGGREGATE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, will be soliciting a Request for Proposal for an On-Site Aggregate Production Management subcontract at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories later in 2025.
An OPTIONAL site tour of the On-Site Aggregate Production Management Construction Work Area is taking place in August 2025 prior to the RFP issuance while the weather is still favorable and prior to any snow cover.
A Pre-bid Conference for the On-Site Aggregate Production Management Construction Work Area will take place during the RFP phase. It is anticipated that the site will be under snow cover during the bidding period.
Failure to attend the OPTIONAL site tour in August 2025 shall not constitute grounds for any claims, complaints, or adjustments by the potential bidder, including but not limited to claims related to site conditions or project scope. It is the sole responsibility of the potential bidder to ensure they have adequately assessed the site conditions, regardless of their participation in a site tour.
Potential Bidders will find information about registering for the OPTIONAL site tour in August 2025, limited to two representatives per interested party, on Merx.com. Further instructions will be provided only to those who register their attendance as set out in the Merx.com posting. Confirmation from Parsons will be provided to the registered attendees no later than two business days after the registration deadline. Prospective attendees who have registered via Merx.com but not received instructions should contact the Contracting Authority noted in the posting.
Attendees of the OPTIONAL site tour in August 2025 are strictly prohibited from capturing photographs, videos, or any other form of visual or audio recordings of the Site. Any violation of this provision may result in disqualification from the bidding process.

Competitive proposals will be solicited using the MERX Canadian Public Tenders website to select the best value firm to deliver the product to the Giant Mine in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
