476721-0027 - Operation and Maintenance of an Effluent Treatment Plant

As the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for Giant Mine, Parsons Inc. (“Parsons”) is requesting proposals for the Operation and Maintenance of an Effluent Treatment Plant at Giant Mine, located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The Request for Proposal (RFP) price will include the cost for all labour, supervision, materials, equipment and services required to complete the work as outlined in the RFP document and its attachments.

Parsons is committed to ensuring procurement is conducted in a fair, open and transparent manner while addressing Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (CLCA) commitments and the Government of Canada’s (GoC) procurement objectives regarding Indigenous and local northern opportunities. Parsons  is committed to Indigenous training, employment, subcontracting and other opportunities involving Indigenous citizens and businesses in carrying out the work under the GMRP through the use of Indigenous Opportunities Consideration (IOC) and Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). All bid solicitations issued by the MCM include the requirement for bidders to stipulate their IOC commitments. Some bid solicitations will include both IOC and PSAB. In these cases, bidders are required to stipulate their IOC commitments and comply with PSAB.
