ADVANCE NOTICE OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY – DRILLING SERVICES FRAMEWORK MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT
Solicitation No. RFFR-476721-0096
Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, will be soliciting a Request for Framework Rates (RFFR) for a Master Services Agreement (MSA) at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. on a Call-up Agreement basis. A MSA is not a contract but is an offer from a potential supplier to provide goods and/or services at pre-arranged prices, under set terms and conditions, when and if required. It is not a contract until Parsons issues a Call-up Agreement to the MSA list of approved subcontractors. This MSA will include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Investigative Drilling – drilling boreholes with HW casing and HQ2 and HQ3 tooling using diamond coring rig and drilling geotechnical boreholes using track-mounted rigs
- Sample Drilling – carry out sonic drilling for the collection of samples, including enlarging access holes as required
A pre-bid virtual meeting will be held for this solicitation. Work is anticipated to start in 2023.
